Let’s see if they will be in the game. If it isn’t it’s probably something that could come with a future feature patch I guess.
They come in Balistic, Laser and Partical types. For example the Longsword has all three, lasers mounted in front and what looks like partical on the sides. Then Dragonfire II has partical and balistic.
So yeah I think we're good.
Turrets + crew controlling them is pretty much the only way you can safely board enemy vessels during combat without getting blown up.
Where did u find that? And I guess I am thick but not sure what that exactly means, unless they are talking about trying to cap in middle of other enemies present.
Awesome if there are turrets opens a lot of options for tactical space combat.

I was trying to look closely at the live action trailer but still can’t determine exactly if there are any full fledged turrets (e.g rear shooting turret). Guess we will see when the game launches soon :)
Sure, and yeah, it's hard to tell. To me it looks like it could possibly be a laser guided weapon of some sort.
