PIRATES and TORRENT???

Dear developers, explain to me WHY buy a regular edition if the game comes out without protection?

I will explain my logic.
The premium edition will be available on September 1. If the game does not have DRM protection, then on the SAME DAY it will appear on pirated torrents!!!!! That is, people who BOUGHT a standard edition will be able to play 5 days later than pirates???!!!

In any case, I bought myself a premium edition, such games are released too rarely, in order to save on them)

If DRM, besides the usual Steam DRM-light that is defeated within minutes, is present it's listed on the store page right alongside 3rd parts EULAs. E.g. Hogwards Legacy

Also, even if the game managed to get pirated, you are going to have a tough time not getting further patches for bug fixing and also, getting the latest mods at places like Nexus (plenty of mod authors would require you to have the latest updated version to run, that means having an official copy instead of a pirated one).

Not always, there is time when people can't afford the game, play and love game, then some point they should able find income again, and had enough money to buy game even they did pirate game. I wouldn't said never, but again only if game is so good they love it, want to buy and own it rather than pirate it, but not everyone are like that, however.

Key is game are very fun, and very good reputation, then in long terms, those people finaly had enough money to buy this game, maybe companies don't like this, and want money now, but in realistic, some people fall hard time, and need game to cheer them up, if game is very fantastic long term gameplay and replayability, it's good chance they will try find some way income to buy this game.

Funniest thing Bethesda has done was release Doom Eternal with no DRM on accident. Still got the game at some point but it was def worth checking out on release due to that.
