It's weird though, as I currently have a 1650 ti card in my Legion 5 laptop, and am playing BG3 with no problems at all. The minimum GFX card recommended for that is a GTX 970, which according to the GPU benchmark website is better than the GTX 1650 ti.
Will take your advice and purchase then refund it it doesn't work.
Id say it may be time for an upgrade, or make due with less than console like graphics...
I know Im weighing multiple upgrade options for next year as my 680 is finally becoming obsolete.
It is most definitely not the same engine.
To the OP: I don't know if four gigabytes of VRAM will be enough.
I played Jedi Survivor which have minimum req. 1070, my vga is 1650 and the game still playable and running on high setting 1080p
I don't know how much FPS I get at that time, but for me still enjoyable
We know that Jedi Survivor have heavy minimum requirement
I think 1650 is a mid-end vga which have enough power if you play it on 1080p
