yes, minimum is 1070 ti

check store page
HeyYou Jun 26, 2023 @ 10:28am
If you have the rest of the requirements, I would fully expect the 1080 to run the game reasonably well.

Why..... you dont look at the Store Page listed Systemrequirements....?

I just dont get it....

AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1900X 8-Core Processor 3.80 GHz

I have enough ram i have 32 gb...I think my processor is fine.

I can't tell if the OP can't read the store page for the posted system requirements or if they are trying to "humble brag" about a nearly 6 year old PC build.

It might and that's a big (MIGHT) mainly because yo can really help weaker GPUs with things like FSR and what not just don't expect 60fps, for you the biggest concern should be if your CPU is it up to par because you can't really help a CPU much at all to make any meaningful impact and Starfield will be very cpu heavy game so if you have a good enough CPU you might be just fine if you give up some graphic fidelity.

They may be new to computer gaming and couldn't find the answer in terms they were looking for online? There's wasn't a whole lot I couldn't find when I was first starting out... but there were some things I seeked direct answers to... Then set out to find the reasons why. I'm still rather new... The hardware itself I'm getting down... I just started playing with BIOS changes/updates/compatibility... and I've asked for direct answers like this. Plus people learn at different paces.

I'll admit... I know nothing about AMD at all... The 32gigs is good... I have been beginning to notice that a quality, fast SSD can go a really long way. Go to pcgamebenchmark.com and it will rate your computer to see what games you can play.

They can use Best Buy's website... or... They can walk into a store! Some don't have to (or want to) know what they're getting... Just that it works. You point is moot... It's just they found a game that they want and are figuring these things out right now. The community is supposed to be here to help

What are your other specs? I don't usually go by minimum... If minimum is 1070ti I don't see why this wouldn't work... but there are other important requirements as well.

I should have got the video card myself but I have no idea about the processer, I was looking at the 8 gb part of the video card on the store page it says nothing. I should have looked at the 1070 and said my # is higher. Plus this stuff goes over my head, I just buy a computer every 5 years, and I have no problems with games. I am at the end of my 5 year computer.
