Anyone buying discounted preorder from Green Man gaming?

Some people say they are legit, some say not. I did purchase a game from them years ago and it was good, but it was not a preorder - and a lot less money.

GreenManGaming is a legit third party store that get them directly from publishers/distributors.

Just like physical stores also sell games.

Yeah they have a 15% off sale. Its $20 bucks off for the premuim up here in Canada where it costs $130 which is friggiin expensive.

If the site is found on isthereanydeal.com you are safe. Those are all legit 3rd party retailer sites.

I'd make sure to check their refund policy. If it doesn't allow refunds you are taking more of a chance, as opposed to Steam where you can refund. I'm under the assumption you can't refund "keys" directly on Steam anyway.

Most of the keys, once used, can not be refunded. It's been that way forever. It's the price you pay, for paying less.

The above, also don't count on early access perks if you buy from even an authorized reseller like greenmangaming, often the key comes at release time.

It's safe. I bought a bunch of games from Green Man Gaming store. 100% safe & clean.

Not always.

GMG have actually been in trouble a few times due to illigal copies and promotion key copies sold. They have also been caugh engaging in region unlucks to lower prices.

That being said, they are safe in terms of privacy.

I'm not buying this particular title there but I don't have any hesitation in using them generally.

I'd say Green Man is closer to legit than not but they're a company not a friend so always do ones due diligence!

Once the key is redeemed on GMG you cannot refund.
