I wonder if we'll get to see a rogue AI like Hal 9000 in a future DLC or maybe even in the main quest.
We know so little about the lore. I'm still confused about what happened to Earth. A settlement on Mars (Cydonia) was mentioned in the Direct coverage which makes me conclude we'll get to know what happened to our homeworld.
I also wonder if we'll get to visit Mars moons, Phobos and Deimos.
Hal wasn't sinister! Poor guy was just doing his job. Personally I blame the programmer, who obviously wasn't doing his job :p
I do like Starfield in terms of ship interiors have gone for a clean and gravity-aware design.
I can't wait to play it and mod it , Aliens movie comes to me as an idea for a immersion mod.
We will see if that's true. I will be super happy if they get to 50% quality of Traveller.
So far it looks like they are just remaking FO4 in space.
As if that would be a bad thing.
Well, when they tried to remake FO4 into a multiplayer game that didn't work out.
In any case, if they just manage to get to a FO4 level of release bugginess, that would be great. I am all for it.
What's that go to do with two single-player games? Oblivion is just a remake of Morrowind. Fallout New Vegas is just a remake of Fallout 3. Fallout 4 is just a remake of Fallout New Vegas. That's how a franchise often works.
Each iteration advances the winning formula, just as Starfield will likely advance it. Being a "remake of Fallout 4" isn't a critique in my opinion, it's a recommendation.
