Most of PS players won't play starfield, because they either can't afford a new system, or just have a laptop, OEM workstation computer. They will however result to watching youtube playthroughs, or twitch streams. Some will just write negative reviews on metacritic without even playing the game.
Just how things go.
Even if it´s years laters, most games on console exclusivity these days ended up on PC unless it´s Nintendo. I get that an up to date PC is way more expensive than a console, but at the end of the day, if you don´t want to loose on exclusives, PC is the way to go, at least currently.
My partner and I co-opped TMNT Shedder's Revenge on XCloud and there was no noticeable lag whatsoever for either of us. I've played Fallout and Doom, and at most there was a second or two of serious artifacting at launch while the stream stabilised.
Note, we live in a pretty small town, so our internet isn't great. It's impossible to make a blanket statement - people have to try it out and see if it works for them.
That is an option, but I don't like it, I prefer to have the complete game in my game library, if you like Starfield so much, another option is to sell the PS and buy an XBOX or a PC.
What is clear is that PS users will never be able to play Starfield.
There have been a few Xbox only games that sneak on to the PS later on even after been told there will be NO PS version.
I think not this time.
They may try it and that is an option.
Which means Microsoft and Xbox had the foresight to give PlayStation players an option to play their games by going through a few hoops.
Had Sony purchased Bethesda then the only option to play the game would be to buy a PS5.
Yup. Which is why I think it was better if Bethesda was going to get purchased that MS did it.
I was going to buy it on PC so i care not if its coming to the PS5 but more than a few Xbox only games end up on the PS at some point. If it happens it happens but i will be playing on the PC so lose nothing and gain nothing what ever the outcome.
