adoring fan is more of easter egg from oblivion.

Yes I prefer beautiful female (replace adoring fan) follower rather than original male, even she might be gold digger, follow me and took my gleamy, shiny coin for every 30 minute gameplay for giggles, more or less. I guess it's would be called Gold Digger Fan, I guess.

Unless anyone had better idea for female follower that annoying Human Player.

No, I don't want adoring fan tran women, that don't count as real female in my humble opinion, it's still dude. Each to own, I guess.

Try to change original adoring fan (Male with silly hair) by had him tran women would be strange.

Seeing the adoring fan is optional when selecting traits / back ground I am hoping the fan is open to customisation... Just gender nothing else.

i dont think so, the adoring fan is basically an the elder scrolls 4 oblivion easter egg and in that game he was male only.

Odd, that elder scrolls and starfield had nothing to do with each other other than bethesda create game. So Elder Scrolls had own separate lore/universe from fallout and starfield, all 3 are separate from each other and had own system of lore/universe that had nothing to do with each other, unless like adoring fan in starfield, it's easter egg, Unless I'm mistake? Only thing all 3 game had common is that game make by bethesda (not all of them, Only Fallout 3 and 4, but not Fallout 1 and 2 Oldest. Elder Scrolls and Starfield is all Bethesda, thought.

The Adoring Fan is just a throw back to Oblivion, and as such you'll have to wait for modders to change the characters sex / voice to female. (Gender isn't the right term, as gender refers to the theory of psychology, not the biology of actually being female.)

if i remember right in the showcase they mentioned that the adoring fan would give you gifts occationally.

I mean, a free starting companion isn't that bad as an extra gun in a fight. Though I wouldn't want it if the follower is annoying.

That said, I also wouldn't be surprised if there was special dialogue / quest options by using the companion. So it could be worth while.
