They showed you could make it look more like a jet or the space shuttle. Could probably do sone start trek style bird if prey types etc.
Depending on how the different ship parts affect things I know I'll want to design an "efficient" or "min/max" ship too
Since all of the battles seem to be in space then streamlining seems a waste of creds
Maybe it is pleasing aesthetically but how relevant his that?
Ok, I know, people will howl about how it looks. Maybe some people will paint theirs technicolor, others with camo (like that works in space!)
Then again, a flying cannon would be cool
One shot and boom he's dead
Well for combat though I may try and run or evade but I could put the guns over and under the cockpit.
Though doing a B-wing style config seems fun to me as well. The fun about an RPG is normally it is less arcade and more just fun.
Going to try it though and see.

I tend to like ships that have a large visual range where I’m floating in space with minimal obstruction of view.
Wonder of their are view port parts as well.
How ever as much as the ships in Starfield look amazing, the battleship looks severely under gunned.
I dont know maybe the capital ship shown in the advertisements is a carrier but really interesting how epic Starfield will get. :)
