Is a gtx 1080 enaugh ?

Do you guys think my pc can handle the game with high settings at 1440 p ?

i hava gtx 1080 and an amd ryzen 5 2600x with 16 gb ram

my pc can handle red dead 2 at that resolution with everything on ultra and rdr is a damn demanding game hahah

Its 2023, those specs are old as dirt and stuff out now is far better.
Most people asking are bringing older stuff still and not the best of the old stuff, there are old machines in the way back that would still crush this game coming but they have a lot of great hardware in them.

Most likely, will get 120-144 without FSR or anything else.
Not even heard anything official about ray tracing for this game so any mention of that purely speculation.

These recommended specs are bonkers. They say a 6800xt OR a 2080. There's a HUGE jump in performance between a 6800xt and a 2080, they're not even in the same league. I don't think we can use these specs as a good basis for how the game will perform. We'll just have to wait and see.

rx 6800 xt is closer to a 3080 in performance value.
That's crazy difference in performance between those two cards.

That's crazy difference in performance between those two cards.

The RX6800XT is a little better than the 3080 in raw power so yea it's crazy to put the 2080 next to the RX6800XT even if it's counting RT because the RX6800XT is just that much stronger I don't know what they were thinking.

Hardware or not, It will ultimately depend on if the Starfield devs want to optimize their game and make it run well in general.

Yes its good hell I have 1070 and it will play this but it also depends on the fps your looking to hit..

Yes its good hell I have 1070 and it will play this but it also depends on the fps your looking to hit..

What's your CPU? I just upgraded my 1070 to a 3070 and I'm curious roughly how it would have performed. I'm running a Ryzen 7 2700x
