Opinion: Exclusives are bad for customers.

Exclusives kills competition, competition is necessarity for evolving. Exclusives and Microsoft tries to kill competition so we customers are one whom loses here.
I have PC i am able to buy starfield, but i am so angry about exclusives, they destroys things, they holds technology back, including VR. F**K off Microsoft.

I mean... is it just that you own PS so you never noticed, but Sony has a LOOOOONNNG history of exclusives and tons and tons of games that us PC gamers never ever got to play. I mean, in a perfect world every game would be released on every system, but sadly that's not the case. So in this case, I say fair is fair. :>

The only company that kills games is Sony, if Sony had its way Starfield would have been Playstation 5 exclusive and would not come to PC or XboX for years thus effectively killing the game and its modding base.

You sound like someone who owns ps5 and is butthurt its not coming to ps5.

I mean at least you get to play it on PC. If I wanted to play Gran Turismo for instance I would need a Playstation.

Actually, Exclusives are a direct result of competition. What better way to get folks to buy your console, than to sell games that are ONLY on that particular console.....

Exclusivity is a good thing. gives the console a reason to own one. Cant say the same about xbox since everything on their is mostly multiplats and old games all of which play are on Steam day one.

actually a good thing. PS Owners pay for quality games. This game isnt quality when its just a generic bethesda title people will forget about. Quality over Quantity

Okay, so if exclusives kill competition then that means God of War will be coming to Xbox and Nintendo Switch, right? Spider-Man, which previously was a multi-platform game series, will be coming to Xbox and Nintendo Switch as well, right? The Last of Us, which released on PS3, will be coming to Xbox, right?

All the unique CoD game modes and skins that only PlayStation currently has will be going onto Xbox as well, right? That Hogsmead unique side-quest that released only on PlayStation in Hogwarts Legacy for a year hurt competition because it didn't come to Xbox or PC, right?

Or do exclusives only hurt competition when the PS5 is the one excluded?

Nobodys playing the victim card when PS Exclusives are Quality its mostly xbox playing the victim card since they struggle to get games out. Nothing relevant from Nintendo nothing for adult gamers

Extensive reading of Steam forums clearly indicates that the only thing negatively impacting the gaming industry are Pre-orders and Early Access. Once those are gone then everything will be magnificent again.

It was marketed by PlayStation, and they paid for it.

Sony and PlayStation do have some good games but it's living on the momentum of the PS3 and the PS4. All the games people brag about are Last of Us (PS3 game), God of War and Spiderman, which are over 5 years old each now.

They have not had anything new come out that they themselves made that has made waves in gaming for at least half a decade. There's no quality gaming there, just fanboys living in the past.

Fable will likely be better than FFXVI and Forza 8 likely better than GT7.
