Unless you find a time traveler, I think you will have to wait until release to find out.

Is this a legitimate question? If it is, then of course that's good enough.

The current reccomendation is No you wont be able to play this on high settings. 6800xt / 3070TI minimum for recommended. Depends what you mean be good enough though. For a game like Starfield then nothing below high graphical settings is acceptable for me and a 3060TI would not ne good enough as its considered a budget low end GPU.

well it's listed as 1070 and a i5-6 series as min.. So if you had a slightly better chip even a 1060 would run the game at 1080p, Typically they shoot for 45 or so as min FPS for recommended specs on most games you might even get better than that with min. But folks will have to wait to see what it can be run with and what kind of FPS they are getting.

Your a decent amount above min specs, so i would not worry.

"The minimum specs aren't too demanding and will require PC players an AMD Ryzen 5 2600X processor or an Intel Core i7-6800K, as well as an AMD Radeon RX 5700 or NVIDIA GeForce 1070 Ti graphics card". most people will be able to run this, just not on 240 frames at 4K res.

Depends on what resolution you gonna play in. The rest is raytracing on/off and DSL stuff.
4K gaming, and there's no question if running everything on Ultra. Gotta need som stronger tech for that.

I am even wondering if my 1080ti can handle this or it is time to upgrade.
mind you i only game at 1080p @60fps
Sparhawk122 Jun 12, 2023 @ 9:46pm
I highly doubt it OP. I'm sensing big performance issues.
Celery Man Jun 12, 2023 @ 9:47pm
Probably.

you'll be fine

I have a 3060ti and it's a really fast GPU. What worries me way more than raw speed are the little 8 GB of VRAM.
malorob Jun 12, 2023 @ 11:59pm
If i have to upgrade i am looking at the RX 7900xt it looks like a solid winner for the price

I have a 3060Ti, I wont buy the game until I see the reviews. Used to play a lot of Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim, Fallout 3 and 4, but now I'm tired of them, rather play the Witcher 3 that is much more one adults game. We don't know if minimum is 30fps 720p Low (like they did for consoles), I can't compare a 6800XT with the 2080, they're not in the same generation
