There's so many other games out there that do things SC does or doesn't.. go play them.
>If you spent thousands on SC that's on you.
You can't compare both games, but at least, one of them is filled with gameplay, quests, features, locations, can be modded and has a story with an ending. It's like it is not just the dream of one man, but if they listened to what the players want, where the other one is a big beautifull sandbox with features dispersed here and there and even sells Jpeg's for a 1.000 dollars. Starfield will not kill Star Citizen, because the number of indoctrinated people supporting it to their grave is insane. But it will have an impact on its future sales.
Pretty much this. Far too many people with suffering from sunk cost fallacy, low standards or blind optimism to ever kill SC.
Though maybe in a year or so when Starfield modding is in full swing, it might actually give Star Citizen some desperately needed competition.
Star Citizen exists because of the people who like with crypto and NFT's don't mind dumping their money in projects in the hope they'll get more out of it than they put in (be it money, pleasure or other) but end up defending it because if they don't, they know they'll loose everything they put in. Like in a pyramid scheme, there is only one real winner here.
I wouldn't even go so far as to visit their forum to tell them off.
They aren't worth anybody's time or money.
Then its back to the endless waiting for Star Citizen
Speak for yourself, but I've played all the previous BGS SP games for years and modded the sh*t out of them. Won't be any different with this latest BGS sandbox.
I know that kind of game is not everyone's cup of tea though, so I'm sorry you won't get as much out of it as others.
But who knows? If this is your first BGS SP game then maybe you'll get a taste for it and the gigantic cornucopia of modding that has always sprung up for their games.
Until then. Please continue your donations to keep the dream alive!
