also we only got around 100 systems or so? we probably wont even find intelligent life in the 100 nearest solar systems in our own galaxy.
there is around 4.000 solar systems in the milky way, so we're only really gonna see 2.5% of the entire galaxy, way to little for a chance to meet any life.
what it does seem is that we find remains of an ancient alien race.
4000 Star systems in the galaxy...? Haha nah man - "Astronomers estimate there are about 100 thousand million stars in the Milky Way alone..."
meaning suns without any bodies orbiting them do not count as a solar system (since there is no system)
https://exoplanets.nasa.gov/
here is something.
4.074 planetary systems.
Yeah i know - And scientists now think that most stars have planets... My point being is there is alot more than 4000 star systems in the galaxy lol... A hell of alot more...
So far there are around 4k confirmed systems with planets that are 100% known.
But even if we stay with 4k planetary systems (not counting aliens that might live on artifical stuff in space)
it's still a small part of the known galaxy that we can visit and the chances are still slim to find alien life in so few systems.
4k out of the tiny amount of space we have investigated, and in terms of a ratio its nearly 100% of stars investigated... Which is a very different statement than there are only 4k systems in the milky way which is what you said...
As for finding alien life - Are you not keeping up with the news...? UFO's/UAP's have been 100% confirmed by even the pentagon lol...
No. You don't know that nor does anyone else. The only shot in the dark guess in that regard is Drake's equation.
It's very possible we are some cosmic aberration and are very much alone.
Well at the very least we know that UFO's/UAP's exist - So its not much of a jump...
They fly around using technology that does not exist on earth - thats a fact...
