7900 XTX better than 4090?
With this being an AMD there is a great chance that the 7900 XTX will out perform even the way more expensive 4090. Here is example of an AMD game far cry 6

"A while back, you may or may not recall that AMD had announced they were working with Ubisoft on Far Cry 6. "

Maybe they're doing something to cause Nvidia GPU to actually uinderperform. Why else would they not allow DLSS.

don't buy 4090 because 4090ti will be released, then 5090 then 5090ti.
get 7900 XTX for the half the price and only 15% less performance.

Only if they purposly don't optimize the game well for nvidia graphic cards. The 4090 is allot more powerful and has much better AI tech in it too than the 7900 XTX. If Nvidia cards don't run well its because they didn't want them to run well.

If they go that route I'll loose allot of respect for the company. They already lost some of my respect for their Fallout 76 debacle of a game.

Yeah, lets see the same comparison ran on a game sponsored by NVidia..... :D

I mean if you don't care about RT AMD is a really nice choice you can spend a whole lot less for a whole lot more raw power this does matter where you live though basically just buy what's best for your budget for me AMD has a much more reasonable prices so I went AMD this time maybe next time I'll go back to Nvidia.

He's talking about the 4090. It has allot more raw power than the 7900XTX. The 4080 is the 7900XTX equivalent and you might have a case there.

Yep both companies have been doing sketchy stuff like that for a very long time gameworks ring a bell that ♥♥♥♥ was just nasty there both scummy companies AMD tryst to play the good guy & NVIDIA no longer even try to not be the bad guys they both suck.

not true, 4090 is 15% - 20% faster than 7900XTX and x2 times more expensive.

Here you go yea the 7900xtx does get kinda close to the 4090 in non RT performance on average you are saving like $800 so the 7900XTX is a awesome card but when you count in RT the 4090 blows it out of the park but then again is the little bump in raw performance, RT & DLSS worth $800.

The 4090 is about 25% faster in raster performance and nearly twice as fast in games with ray tracing.

Yeah they have it at 23% faster in raster performance and over twice as fast with RT enabled.

Techpowerup has it at 24% faster in raster performance and nearly twice as fast with RT enabled (Far Cry 6 really skews the averages).

Also have to remember that ♥♥♥♥ is $800 more expensive but yea the 4090 is the better card.

Diminishing returns is a thing with most products though. Whether that extra cost is worth it is up to the individual. For me it was 100% worth it to go for the 4090, the cost difference to me is inconsequential for example

For me sense I don't care much about RT & the card is more than strong enough for 100+ fps for non RT gameplay so I won't need DLSS so I'd go with the 7900xtx but that's if I had a monitor & psu to match it realistically I'd go with the 7900xt right now there technically $650 because of the Starfield bundle & my goal isn't 4K it's 3440x1440p 100+ so for $650 for that power that would be epic but sadly I don't have the extra cash maybe next year for me as of right now NVIDIA lost me as a customer because there prices are simply to unrealistic for me while AMD gives me the power I want at much more affordable prices but that's just me I always say get what best fir your budget.
