eso's engine uses the grandchild of Gamebryo engine
not CE
Not according to this source. Maybe that facepalm you so generously gifted me would look better on you?
The Creation Engine 2 is a brand-new game engine introduced specifically for the launch of Starfield. It is also reportedly being used in the production of The Elder Scrolls 6. Previously, the Creation Engine had been used to make Skyrim and its various iterations, as well as Fallout 4 and Fallout 76.

But bear in mind most of us are using Windows, even though the foundational technology dates back almost four decades.
I'm just grateful that finally they made interior spaces that actually have transparent windows. The Creation engine didn't like to mix indoors and outdoor spaces, so I hope they've addressed that.
Hopefuly they improve it before release.
It's weird because the hair on the head looks good, then you see the beards and I'm wondering why it's not similar quality.
