Your so right and i doubt many understand how right you are or how desperate they are to get at people.
In software development there is a term called a "loser user". When you roll out new software in an organization, some users will be frightened and threatened by it - make them feel insecure and like they loose their established position. So, they will ♥♥♥♥♥ and whine about the new software, at every opportunity.
So I am thinking there are a lot of Star Citizen fans here, and Playstation-5 users, that fit that term here. Not to mention committed multiplayer gamers. And hardcore arcade gamers. And hardcore simulation gamers. The list goes on. People that feel left out, and afraid they are missing an opportunity - which they are.
Don't let them get into your head. And feel assured that the majority of people are very much invested in this, even though the fringe minority can be very loud.
They got burned, I get it. But having a history of poor decisionmaking skills doesn't really give me reason to trust their advice. I make my own decisions, and will be grown-up about the consequences.
Besides, critizising a game that hasn't even launched yet could also fit the term "disingenious". Concerns are justified, criticism not so much. There has to be a balance.
That, and prehaps slight sociopathic tendencies :-D
They let Troll Threads go on for days
There is a reason the Bethesda forums have been turned off like 2 or 3 years ago. They moved on to a Discord channel, there you can find the Bethesda moderators from the old forums and not here.
