The cats have all disappeared and now spend most of their time annoying Rimmer.
They are probably going to release them as a DLC. Is there going to be an online shop like in Fallout 76? I really want to buy some horse armor, i mean spacecraft skin, or some light wood laminate.
All joking aside, I have been hearing for a long time that the game will be released as a live service for all intents and purposes and there will be a cash shop selling items. The model is supposed to be based largely off of the one practiced by Ubisoft for things like "Far Cry 6" and "Assassins Creed" and they will largely be selling packages of skins based off of popular sci-fi IPs re-imagined with a Starfield type flair. As far as races and such I have heard no rumors about that, but among those concerned over this there are some concerns that they will do things like massively gimp exps post beta and then sell exps boosters to cut down on grinding as "time savers", as well as packages of resources and such very much like Ubisoft also does. It remains to be seen if this will prove to be true.
I have heard nothing about "Spacecraft Skins" even as one of these rumors, and apparently there are going to be no mounts or vehicles (something that was clearly stated) so no hover boards, riding animals, or even landing vehicles like Mass Effect. You will be on foot for most of it but there is an equipment slot for mobility devices like jet packs (can't remember the in game name, but it's not jet pack) and you can obtain newer ones as you play through the game and open up more mobility items, which means the player character can eventually be fairly mobile via that and you'll need to re-visit previous areas with new mobility options at times to find everything possible.
So basically if this is true (there have been some doubts as to whether some of my guild buddies are actually in Beta, and I've questioned it myself to be fair) it would mean you'll largely be running around in an armored space suit, with or without a helmet, and have few clothing options, and that suit will be what allows you to move around in different ways in the various playfields depending on your equipment.
One big question that gets side stepped and causes questions on the validity of my sources is whether or not these items are craftable, and if it requires different skills to use different types of mobility devices, and if so how many different travel related skills they are. This later question being important to some people who have been trying to pre-plan builds as much as possible.
It may be in the same universe as The 10th Planet.
I think you're overreacting to the ESRB ratings.
Links or random rumour hearsay.
There's no reason for a cash shop in a single player game. You'd be buying items barely a handful of times, if at all.
Premium Edition includes:
Starfield Base Game
Shattered Space Story Expansion (upon release)
Up to 5 days early access*
Constellation Skin Pack: Equinox Laser Rifle, Spacesuit, Helmet and Boost Pack

also i hope they don't abandon their random generation, i'd like to see some randomly generated content in ES6, imagine a infinite dungeon crawl or something that would be cool.
