Do I have to wear the spacesuit on every planet?

What's the point of making a personalized character if I can never see him? Surely some planets have oxygen and I can wear some cool combat armor on them right?

I think it's look like one had to wear spacesuit most of time unless living on world, maybe there is auto on and off spacesuit as need to be? I had no idea.

The likelihood that there is a planet surface you can go to where the atmosphere is safe for the player is low. So space suit usage is to be expected.

The real question is whether or not there are cosmetic options such that the player can be in their 'suit' yet visually appear in whatever they want.

That being said, I'm sure the variations of space suits are such that a few likely fall in the "cool combat armor" category. Though I suppose that largely depends on personal taste.

You can hide the spacesuit inside settlements. The direct shows the option
