Starfield Ship Uses Warp 10?
So how does hyperdrive work in Starfield?use ludicrous speed?or warp 10?
Is it hard sfi if we use warp 10? How is Starfield basing so? so Starfield is
based in 2330 so means in are world we have hyperdrive tech as company talked
to Nasa to know Nasa will have the tech in 2330?why its there in Starfield right?
People want ludicrous speed or warp 10? what warp is ludicrous speed?being faster?

Will we have limits of using warp speed?and not crash in to comet?
Do we have to upgrade ship to get warp 10?

Don't need warp just need to open a fold in space and pass through.

I don't think Starfield's pseudo-science has been explained anywhere officially, or even will be. It should be noted "Warp" as conceived for Star Trek was once based on real scientific theory but discoveries in physics have made it clear it's impossible. It's highly unlikely Starfield would be borrowing that concept.... we'll have to see what they came up with or if they just gloss over it and go "pure fantasy" as there aren't many potentially viable ways to achieve this sort of space travel allowed by real science..... which also sort of reinforces the Fermi Paradox, which would be that there might be aliens but they can't travel through space any more than we can as science doesn't allow it. Slow, multi-generational colony ships would be the future, and that's not exactly the fantasy and would make it highly unlikely to ever meet another intelligent race.

That said if they go full on absurd I am hoping they decide it's an "Infinite Improbability Drive". That said they seem to be taking this seriously, so I doubt that will happen.

Whoever wins, we all lose.

my understanding it is more like the Spore Drive on Discovery than a warp drive

It's a Gravity Drive, called the Graviton Loop Array. They show this in the ship builder part of the direct.

What that means and how it works... Your guess is as good as mine.

The only time maximum warp should be used is when returning Lwaxana Troi to Betazed.

It's basically wormhole theory.

Not sure if the question actually wants an answer, but I will explain it in line with the wording we were given. "Grav drives" as they're called in game, FOLD space between locations. Imagine your ship as a dot on a piece of paper. There is another spot on the paper you want to reach. You put a dot there, then fold the paper such that the dots are now directly over eachother. Let's say you want to go to a location that's two systems away. Now you just make a third dot and fold the paper such that the third dot overlaps with the first two. The more folds, the bigger a sheet of paper you need.

The above concept is a 2D version of what Grav drives do. Take the idea, apply it in 3 dimensions, and consider the size and efficiency of your Grav drive to be the sheet of paper at your disposal. I hope this helps understand it.
