Utterly, totally different games. No relation, no connection, no effect on each other.

(Forza and Grand Theft Auto both have cars in them - will GTA 6 make Forza Horizon 'dead'?)

Well one is singleplayer, and one is multiplayer.

The computer games have been having a space race lately, all trying to scoop the loot from the hungry player base.

I think plenty of people will buy both.

There are plenty of folks who do not want to be bugged by other players. Or interrupted, robbed , killed, blown up, and destroyed.

Of course the Player Killers are gonna complain this Starfield is not multiplayer, Just like plenty of Star Citizen players will complain its not a single player game.

I for one am glad the griefers will not be in Starfield.

There are plenty of MMOs for them to devalue already.

There are literally thousands of space games to play. While few of them are worth playing. Most of them are cheap knock off cash grabs.

Very weird question. Star Citizen is a crowd funded project that has brought in over 500 million dollars so far. Which is more the the entire production cost of Red Dead Redemption 2, which took Rockstar San Diego 8 years to make.

So this is money already earned, a release of any game is not going to change the outcome of Star Citizen one way or the other. However, if you are asking if players are going to ditch Star Citizen when Starfield comes out, well yet again, very weird question.

Star Citizen is not out in at least another 4-5 years i recon. And before the release of Star Citizen, will be the release for Squadron 42, which is also years away. And by then Starfield has been out for many years already.

No, this game will have little to no impact on Star Citizen as a whole. If anything, the developers of Star Citizen is pretty good at killing it themselves.

For starters Star Citizen is still years away from being finished, its still pretty much a tech demo at the moment... And they are quite different despite having the same setting... Star Citizen is a pretty hardcore sim with survival elements and is more of a sandbox mmo, while Starfield is a story heavy single-player RPG, and not a hardcore sim...

I plan on playing both of them...

I think starfield 2(assuming they make a sequel) will be out long before SC(or Squadron 42) is completed or even reaches beta level.....
