These are all the games he has actually made and been lead on - not a bad list right...? He had very little to do with F76 - that was mostly handled by another team... and same with ES Blades...
No but that was his team - and their next game is Starfield - so far they have not really missed... So what has he done that makes you not trust him at all, and you can say F76
"In 2000, Howard was appointed project leader and designer for The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind and the expansions that followed. The game was released in 2002 and was a critical and commercial success, winning several Game of the Year awards."
Yeah cool story bro... And if you think that list is 'bad' then clearly you dont like bethesda style games at all and thats all good...
Some people believe in santa claus and/or god - it does not make it so luckily lol...
a living target.
I honestly don't believe you've played anything from Bethesda since Morrowwind which was admittedly a very good game. Things started breaking with Oblivion and have been released in a incomplete state at top dollar ever since over at Bethesda.
It's fine to look at Bethesda's past accomplishments and admire what they've done, but everything they've released since Morrowind has been like a George Lucas prequel. Big promises, lots of dazzle, but doesn't deliver. They take your money and you end up with a Jar Jar Binks in your library.
Edit: I'm not attacking you personally...Just your have faith in behtesda. You're probably an alright person.
I am with you bud, this game will be fine, may even be great.
Obviously you haven't read my reviews for Skyrim and Fallout 4 lol
If you've read them, you'll probably change your argument from "Never Reviewed A Single Bethesda Game" to "Oh look a Stupid Dirty Fanboi" i reckon. :)
Oh and have you seen some of the screenshots showcase i posted about the heavily modded Oblivion in my profile page? I quite like them very much actually. :)
No, if you continue reading to the end you'll read that I wasn't attacking you personally. I wanted to make sure. I'm assuming you know that Skyrim had a lot of broken content for years and Bethesda never had the intention of fixing it, and left it to the modding community to fix it? Also, no. I didn't see the review for Skyrim or Fallout 4 on your profile. Did you do one for Fallout 76?
Morrowind was also pretty broken (and is still broken in many ways to this day) and modding community is still making fixes for it, yet its still a Masterpiece in my opinion.
I enjoyed the Main Quest in Skyrim, enjoyed modding the heck out of it and with over 470hours of fun on it, i consider it money well paid.
An open world game as huge as Skyrim can never be fully fixed by the developers.
Sure, it certainly seems like they're lazy by throwing it to modders to fix but they're a company after all. At some point, they will have to move on to other projects.
The very least they could do is not punish modders for fixing their game. Seeing how bad Rockstar treats Modders, i'm thankful Bethesda at least isn't like Rockstar.
No, I have not touched FO76, and I probably never will.
What I wanted was a Co-Op Fallout where I could play with few of my buddies to explore a desolate post-apocalyptic world, NOT a MMO where I see many XXLegolasXXX running around with their pants down all the time shouting things that even their Grandmothers will be horrified :D LOL
Fallout is a game that is best for Single Player (and maybe Co-Op) only. Making it an MMO is completely wrong imo.
I posted this on another thread but i'll be posting it here.
Here are my main questions for Starfield:
How big will the universe be?
How many planets will there be?
How big and explorable will a planet be?
Will planets be empty desolate places like Mass Effect? Or as detailed as Skyrim?
Will we be able to fly into a planet's atmosphere and land on it from space in real-time? Or will it be substituted with a cutscene?
Because of Starfield's scope, it will be even bigger than Elder Scrolls,
and definitely not going to be easy to pull off.
If you are reading this Todd, I believe in you!
If anyone can do it, it will be you and your team!
two of them (Skyrim and Fallout 4) were painful to go through (couldn't even get past 10h mark in Skyrim);
I'm gonna say we differently define the term "masterpiece"...
I guess their faux RPGs are just not something I can enjoy.
