Gravity Launch Broken

Hello, I just got to the part of the game where you get the Gravity Launch ability. It never works and I basically can no longer play the game because I need to Jump to proceed. I restarted my computer and game many times. Pressing B at the Jump portal does nothing. I got it to work once and that was enough to get to the save point but it never worked again.

Just checked my ability list, there is no ability called Astral Jump there. Are you talking about Gravity Launch? You can actually go into your ability list and check up control tips. Pressing B at the small hovering portal-looking things is not supposed to do anything, what you need to do is to press a direction towards a "portal" when close to it.

It says to activate Gravity Launch by pressing B near gravity devices. I tried your suggestion and it still does not work.

You were right! The game tutorial said B but doing what you said, it should be F, not B!

Heh, must be a mistake in the immediate tutorial text. The developers should take a look and patch it.
It tells the right thing if you go into character skill list though.

I would like to fix this issue.

Could you tell me more about it? In the tuorial text, it should be show the 'Inteactve button' which depend on the button you have config in the Controller map.
The default key in Xbox controller is 'B' , if you don't change key binding in the game.

Did you change the button bind in controller setting? I mean set ‘Interact’ to 'L'.

This ability use the button 'Interact'. So the button which function is interact will show in the tutorial text.

Yup, that was one of the first things I did, changed "Interact" to "Up", which I guess is displayed as "L" in hints. It freed one face button for me and I was already familiar with that kind of set up thanks to "Hollow Knight".

So much confusion in this thread because it seems everyone changed their buttons, LOL =).
