Hello, so I want to get into Hollow Knight like everybody else but I can't even beat the first boss, but I love Metroidvanias. I'm wondering if this game is as hard as that?

I'm in the Royal Alter area, and I found a boss called the Anti-Infiltration Model. After beating the boss, I saw that I could go right or left. To the right was what looked like an area to explore, and to the left was a terminal and a lever/door. I interacted with the terminal first and it gave me the Algorithmic Fragment One and teleported me out of the boss arena before I could explore. From what I can see, I can't get back into the area. Was there anything else in this area that I missed, or is there ...

Can me anyone explain why they implented this awful rushless jump? Who could do this in the air, I trained it (for the last seed/serpetine mushroom spore) but thats near impossible to do it mid-air
