Wouldn't surprise me if it's because of the texture streaming that they've implemented this patch. They need to add a setting to turn it off.
Please, dev, do this!
Improved stability
Sorry what? Improved stability.....this could mean a million different things. We need more than that....sigh. "Significant GPU and CPU performance improvements", like what exactly did you improve? A video comparison or even a detailed description would have been appreciated.
Sorry if it makes me look like entitled brat but this really makes me wonder how Crytek is going to treat Crysis 4 considering it's an indie level company now. While many of us appreciate some quick fixes a couple of months ago and also inclusion of a removed level it's also very disheartening to see poor post launch support. I felt bad at seeing Mixed reviews but now I can really see negligence by Crytek/Saber Interactive.
Sad to see that this will be the last official update for Crysis Remastered. Was hoping to see manual saving and Steam Cloud support implementation at the very least :(
It's very likely that Epic Games would fund Crysis 4 despite being a direct competitor like with Remedy making Alan Wake 2 and Control with their own tech despite being funded by the makers of Unreal Engine.
Regardless of exclusivity Crytek is probably going to require external funding for this game especially if they want to make it a big AAA release like Crysis 3 (2013).
Update: Started a new game and it seems to be fine now.
