Also do we really need a Crysis 4 ? This franchise was more of a benchmark excuse for their fancy engine, nothing more.
Crysis 1 was nice, a good semi-open world.
Crysis 2 was just eye candy and became linear.
Crysis 3 even more eye candy and more linear.
The story was very meh in 2 and 3. You could tell they were making ♥♥♥♥ up as they went.
That's debatable. Look at KCD2, that's running on Cryengine and they used that because they couldn't achieve some things they wanted on Unreal. Or star citizen, which uses their own engine based on lumberyard which is based on cryengine lol. Unreal has had some positives and negatives. When its used right it can be nice, but that's rarely the case these days.
