No, I wasn't lol I get the meme for it. Turning computers to slag and such.

But, if a 4090 can't do it, what can?

My 2080. It runs great for me. Be mad at yourself for running out and falling for the 'get the latest greatest gaming card' scam.

The game runs on an engine from 2007. Sure they have upgraded it but what do you expect? I run a 3060 and get over 100 fps, but when I'm outside on the island it will easily drop to 40 or 50 frames. Nothing you can really do about it.

Let me guess, your playing with the "can it run crysis" settings right? That setting is stupid and causes everything to render including things miles away from you, its a meme graphical setting meant to give the impression that the game is "hard to run" buts its just wasting resources for the hell of it. Never play with those settings, just play on very high.

crysis remastered doesn't have the best performance optimization
Tiramisu Nov 23, 2022 @ 9:23am
Ive only had 1 spot so far that performance dropped, which in a sandbox type game with the silly "can it run crysis?" mode selected is fine. It was the CPU at fault, turning off or down DLSS didnt change my FPS almost at all.

Apart from that one spot tho, it runs great. In fact if I cap it at 95fps (because I run HDR in 98Hz mode for 4:4:4 chroma) the game spends most of its time using just 170-210w and the fan is even off half the time.

lucky my 4090 only gets 23-30fps

My 3080 can run it at solid without any drops or stutters and the game is one of the most beautiful experiences visually. I remember when I struggled hard to run the original with my 9600 GSO 768 Vram :D Those were the days.

However, the Remastered version is filled with a lot of firefight glitches for me. Enemies don't seem to respond even when I shoot at them and get stuck in rocks or tress lol.
