How to play with different subtitles
I'd like to play Crysis Remastered with German audio and English subtitles. How do I substitute the text in a different language only?

Old post, but did you ever figure out how to do it?
I want to use German audio only as well?

Hmm, maybe you can try replacing the game's German localization files with the English ones, but still keeping the German voice files. I assume your game is reading the "german.pak" file, so my suggestion is to do the following:

1) Go to your Steam\steamapps\common\Crysis Remastered\Game\Localized
2) Open "german.pak" with WinRAR or 7-Zip. Now, open the "languages" folder inside it and leave the window open.
3) Open "english.pak" also with WinRAR or 7-Zip. Open the "languages" folder inside it and leave the window open.
4) Now drag all of the .xml and .gfx files from the english.pak window to the german.pak window (Note: DON'T move the "Textures" and "dialog" folders). When asked to replace, click on Yes or OK.

You can create a backup of german.pak if you feel more comfortable. If not, you can verify the game's integrity if something goes wrong.

Honestly, I haven't tried any of this, I'm just going by what I know about the game's localization files. Still, I hope this can be of help.
