The Game is in WIP since November / December with the big Upgrades / Reworks. That we don´t heard anything from the Devs dosen´t mean the Game is finished. No, that means since 1.5 or about 2 Monthes that the Team is working on the big ones.
Look here: https://steamdb.info/app/1708520/history/
The Troublemakers try to tell you that the Game is dead or similar, but them aren´t to help anymore. They ignore the Facts, that the F1 Manager 2022 is still in big WIP Upgrade- / Rework- / Refit-Process to give a stable Platform for the 2023-Modernisation.
There I have to agree with you Blunk. The Game is in it´s basic very good, but need a little more Adjustment / Improvement here & there.
The Devs working on that already since about 2,5 Monthes. Seems to be more deeply then expected, otherwise we would have heard from them.
Go figure. The game is obsolete to anyone who actively follows Formula One.
Hegemonia, the Star Wolves-Row, Total-War-Row, Monkey Island-Row, most Games of the Star Wars-Row, fully XCOM-Row are only some examples which are now getting older but played mostly every day. What shows that to us?
Right, that Games are not obsolete (and some new History-Facts would make them), but that´s not interessting for them. The same count for the F1 Manager 202x-Row. It come out as Base-Game for us players to get an first playable official Variant from it after 22 Years of Waiting and playing the not Fish / not Meat Fan-Managers (like Motorsport Manager, Pole Positon 2010 to Racing Manager 2014).
Auboss: Yes, the Game don´t get an new Patch since Mid December. What we now know is, that the deeper Bugfixes, Upgrades, Repairs get linked with the Refit for the 2023-Version.
That means the 1.12-Version is the last Bugfix / Repair-Version for the 2022-Version. It´s not perfect, but much better playable then the Release-Version from August 2022.
Yeah, a game with no incentive to play beyond a couple of seasons due to the lack of any long term achievements, add to the fact that there's no fun in developing drivers and staff like in some other racing games.
I cannot make sense of what you said. On top of which, you speak from the perspective of a developer in the first sentence, then say "us players" in the second sentence.
Answer: Yeah the Publishers (some are Kickstarter, some are Standard) / Developers (like Frontier Developments / Chaos Concept / Paradox Interactive / Goldhawk Interactive) construct and coach the Game in middle or longtime projects.
Some of that Developers have Kickstarter Projects (like Goldhawk with Xenonauts 2) which get testet from Founder-Gamers from beginning on. Other Companys (like Frontier with F1 Manager 2022) have auto-Tests and human Testers in the Background.
Yeah, we players buy it and play it. Old Games like the announced or the Remasterd Homeworld-Games (Part 1 and 2) as well as in big WIP UFO ET-Row aren´t bad. If they are get in Mind again or still in Mind.
For the F1 Manager 2022 it´s the same. The Base-Version have an very good concept, but was not developed long enough (1 Year of Development were missing), so it´s not perfect. But the in big WIP 2023-Version will.
