the store page says i can choose one of the existing teams.
nowhere i stated that i can actualy create my own team.
Just to clarify on this, this means you choose one of the 10 current F1 teams in the 2022 lineup.
There's no create-a-team for this game, however, it's definitely one of the most requested features that I've seen and we've passed this on :)
its not only that.
there is so much stuff a manager game can incorporate, almost should incorporate to make it more interresting, dynamic, variety.
The ability to start at a lower rank like forumla 3 and make your way up to the top.
(massive enhancement in experience)
Maybe even manage different classes like formula - E
Or GT cars.
Many people had high hopes of a bigger manager game that´s not only focused on F1.
If its gonna be purley only F1 there is missing variety in my opinion, and possibly drew not as much people into the game.
idk how in depth the game will go but iam as usual a little bit concerned that its maybe not enough or elements that would provide a more indepth experience maybe missing but idk enough of the game to be sure on that one.
proberly done training sessions with setups the ability to do them manualy and actualy work on the car and setup for the track and so on there a so many possibilities
even with the need to adapt them when the next day has different conditions.
actualy driver management to make them improve or even hire others.
(if there are only a set amount of official drivers i personaly think that takes a lot out of the game)
so you actualy can make it worse if you try to get it too "realistic" aka to tight to the real world rooster
wich in my opinion your game studio has a tendency to do, to go too realisitc but the fun and variety keeps lacking behind wich is in my opinion not a good idea.
don´t get me wrong a realistic game is not wrong but some aspect´s of commiting to much into it is a pitfall for lacking game experience.
and there is so much more stuff its way to much to list it alll here.
i really hope you create a good game.
Appreciate your thoughts!
If you haven't already, it's worth checking out some of the previews that we did a few days ago. We've shown off some of the depth you can expect and some screenshots too.[www.formula1.com]
Evtl. that is doable to integrate, but the effort for that to change the existing Game-Licence is immensive and not cheap.
If you would take them today and only Modernise a bit, then I see what is comming. The Nostaglic Faction will buy it, all others not. Like I with some other older Games (Star Wolves-Row, X-Com-Row, Jagged Alliance-Row f. e.).
They won't be able to do a lot of that because of licencing, its shame because i would love historical seasons but it would be unlikely just because of the mess with all the licences they would need.
It does pigeon hole the game with the breath of player choice, since you don't have the hundreds of teams that a football management game has, you have 10 and that's your lot.
It also raises concerns of the value of future editions of the game, F1M23 could be just Vips replaces Tsunoda at AT and you get some new F2 and F3 drivers.
That 3 from the Races are in America now is no fortune. There are big names from the American-Formula Sport which shows interesst (f. e. Andretti). They build the same Cars and can upgrade the exsisting Safety for the Drivers in F3 to F1 with the Knowledge from the Champ- / Indycarbuilup (esp. the Cockpit).
The Option to bring such in the Game, is an not to underestimate Feature. There the Motorsport Manger-Team had an very good Nose to bring it in. But there it was much easyer, here it will be not so easy about the Licence. One more Point have to be integrated, because Money and Time are in MM already integrated. The last big Point have to be integrated here: the approval from the other Teams (Formula 1).
In the F3 and F2 that won´t be a big problem, there are comming and going Teams. In the Past there were more Formula 1 Teams too (about to 24 or 26 Drivers) then today. And the first new official Manger won´t have that in the Base-Game in.
