They dont even take it off years after the release when they give the game away for free ;p
You're more than welcome to your opinion! Your comment was deleted for the language used to describe our staff.
Call me old fashion, but if the game is singleplayer it should have no business asking for me to be online to play it, and the horror stories of denuvo eating away performance in the games are far too common.
Even if it's a year later, having confirmation its implementation is just temporary would make me pre-order.
So the big Advice to Frontier is: Steam & Co. is enough for Security to get the Players for such an official Side-Manager-Game in the World of Sport.

I haven´t known that until I heard and read here about it. It´s only an additional Safety like in the old Games and Movie-Disks with an Anti-Crack on CD / DVD / Blu-Ray for Games and Movies / Series up to today+. It only makes illegal Copys impossible, which is 100% correct.
Many Tests with the System from Game Magazines, Modders and so on shows that all assertions are Myth for Systems we have, dosen´t matter it´s an Play Station / other Game-Console or PC.
The first Myth: SSDs and other HDDs get a shorter Living.
After long Range-Tests from 100% Independence: UNTRUE!
The second Myth: Games don´t give the Maximum Gamepotential.
After long Range-Tests form 100% Indepencede: UNTRUE!
Explenation: Belongs on the Workout of the Game (transform from Handheld to PC / Console f.e.)
The third Myth: Modding isn´t possible.
After long Range-Tests from 100% Independence: UNTRUE!
Explenation: You can Mod Graphics, normal Datas and similar. Only the Main-Start-Data and Datas linked with it directly can´t be changed for Anti-Crack-Reasons.
The Myth about the Anti-Crack-Upgrade (like the older System on CDs / DVDs) comes from Cracker-Groups. More I don´t say.
Sadly good Games with the older CD / DVD-Anti-Crack-System don´t work on new Windows anymore and didn´t get a refit for Steam and Co. to play them again.
Short said: I don´t have a Problem with the Anti-Crack-System. We all have played Games with that new / old System and haven´t noticed it. And what happend: Nothing from the announced Myth!
Longer frame times
Longer loading times
Lower frame rates
All proved by multiple independent outlets on youtube and elsewhere.

Game devs admitting denuvo impacted performance too much, so took it out before release
Amplitude devs that made Humankind said

You can bet your life all internal testing is being done without denuvo, so i wouldn't be surprised if at the moment the devs have no idea how it will effect the game.
How much the loading times and FPS will be effected.
What's the point though if it doesn't work?
Devil May Cry 5, Metro Exodus, Resident Evil 2, Far Cry New Dawn, Football Manager 2019 and Soul Calibur 6, were cracked in a week of release
South Park: The Fractured but Whole, Middle-earth: Shadow of War, Total War: Warhammer 2 and FIFA 18 - cracked on release day
Hitman 2 cracked before release...
Be aware, denuvo make another product called Denuvo anti cheat. Which, is not the same. Make sure you're not getting the details from that product.
Don't think i'm some rebid anti denuvo nut. You'll see the mouse next to my name shows i have pre-ordered this game.
But, that doesn't mean i'm not disappointed with the addition of denuvo. It doesn't work and will limit performance.
This game, could be more effected than most, as it extends loading screens. If when you go in and out of track time you go through a loading menu. The time over a season could really add up.
And it get supportet from Steam too in the Steamworkshop. An very significant Phrase is following:
"Don't look a gift horse in the mouth."
All Security-Platforms like GoG, Epic, Blizzard and Steam will use it earlyer or later to give the Devlopers and Publishers an Tool against Cheats etc., esp. for such Games which are based on Licences like this.
Other Games which are Standard-Games / Fan-Games, open for 70 to 80 % Modding or similar don´t use that.
Yes, Devuno can be cracked, but in most Cases after Games get older or the Support get reduced, the Devs will deactivate it normaly.
I personaly don´t have a Problem with an light CPU an Graphics-Reduction for the Devuno-Safety. If it do it´s job like the good old mechanicals on CD / DVD and Blu-Ray, it´s worth to use the best from the best.
They're the one's that will see:
Stuttering
Longer frame times
Longer loading timees
Lower frame rates
Those that pirate may have to wait 3 - 4 days... that is it. They will get greater performance due to no denuvo. No stuttering and quicker load times without the st st st stutter.
Moot point. Not sure what you're point is here. Games without denuvo also get steam workshop. And, given the license involved. Very unlikely this game will get a steam workshop or allow modding.
Safety? Wrong word. You're just as safe without it. And, as a genuine buyers, we're the one's that are effected by lower performance. Those that pirate will get buttery smooth FPS.
This is a single player game, so as long as it can do a stable 60 fps at whatever resolution I want I really don't give two ♥♥♥♥♥.
You'll still get stuttering if you hit a hardware bottleneck from having a dated system.
In every single game tested with and without denuvo, loading times alone were quicker without. Some, nearly double. So, if you've had a game with denuvo, even if you are happy with 60fps. It would have effected you're game time.
I feel like you're just being completely disingenuous here. I've shared multiple here alone.
There's hundreds or articles, videos actually showing the difference it can make. I even showed you that a dev team that intended to run it, not too long ago. Removed it as performance was so bad with it.... A dev team...
If........mabee..... that's a big 'if'. And, denuvo would still mean you put up with longer loading times.
That's not what i'm talking about. Take a look around the forums for games with denuvo, or games that are badly optimised usually from smaller dev teams. There's more than a few people will complain about stuttering on high end systems. It doesn't only happen when cpu has met capacity.
Denuvo can be a cause for that stuttering. The games tested via tech sites and youtubers are all typically using high end systems too.
Longer loading times
Longer frame times
Lower FPS
Stuttering
These issues were effecting games slightly differently. But they were effecting every game i've seen tested. (i watched a fair few)
Denuvo can't be dismissed, it's ignoring reality.
