Powertrain Design
If you have a team with no availability to design their own Powertrain (like McLaren or Alfa Romeo... etc.) , is there the possibility to construct your own Powertrain Design Center on the next seasons so you can build your own Engine or Gearbox?? I'm on the first season yet and I don't know what is comming next.

There's no change at all to the power trains. Their figures are set for the entire life of the game, no development, and no designing new power trains.
You can at the start of each season, get a new choice of engine supplier. But, only for the 6 teams that arn't OEM manufacturers. So, Merc will always have to use the Mercedes engine etc

Damn...that's bad.Hopefully they will do something for the next game in the series.

On the mechanical Side (Engine, Gearbox and ERS-System) we won´t get an self Manufacture-Upgrade. That´s for sure.

But on the Aerodynamical Side (Wings, Sideboxes etc.) we can expect some more surprisses.
There some Specials for Rain etc. we can expect.

The Game is linked to the real international F3 to F1 with the Rules. Evtl. the Devs have integrated for the 4th Season an automatically Refit to the Engines / Gearbox / ERS implemented, which will defenetly come after Development in 2026 for the announced 3 Formula-Series.

Your post is just confusing the matter. This reads like get to 2026 in this game, you'll have options unlocked for engine development. That's not the case.
Also, "for the announced 3 formula series" makes it sound like your saying the devs have confirmed managing F2 and F3. That's certainly not the case.
Not really sure what you were actually intending to say, but the post is too confusing to leave.
There's no engine development in F1 2022, and that isn't going to change.
Hopefully for future games.

Means: If the Devs uses the existing and the upcomming official FIA-Reglements, the Gearboxes and fully Engines get an AUTOMATIC Refit in the Game, which give you new Datas from the Engine-, Gearbox- and ERS-Deliverer for the 2026+-Seasons.

Short enough?

No.. It wasn't the length that's the problem. It sounds like you're referencing 'this' game. When, you need to sound like you're referencing future games in the series. And, that's simply not the case. There will be no engine development in F1 manager 22
Your posts still sound like you're trying to imply the opposite.

The devs would never need the next set of engine rules either. The rule sets for the engines could be made up by the game in much the same way new aero regulations are made up by the game.
It's a weak argument to suggest the devs are waiting for those sets of regulations. They're not in, as they're not going to be included.
There are still too many bugs in this game too for us to expect any new features.

so you'd give them ANOTHER 50 bucks for 2023?
50 bucks for this early access piece of garbage and another 50 for the actual thing? (which will still be horrible, mark my words). That's 100 bucks for a single finished product, I honestly can not understand how anyone justifies that in their mind.

I'm not committed to buy the next game.I will see what they do and if the amount of changes are enough then I will decide. For 2022's game I just bought it because it is something completely new.

Not the topic of this thread but after playing nearly 60h in a week definitely :)

I really love this game.

Now back to the topic on engine providers (given that we cannot build our own),

I am not sure how to read some attribute of that table.

For instance, I wonder when we have a percentage of 65% for Renault on gaz vs 45% for Mercedes, I am not sure i understand which one is the better.

Does it means that Mercedes consume much less gaz than Renault or the opposite ?

I mean it is for me a critical attribute because i suspect it heavily impact the weight of the car and probably result in a significant advantage.
