Game freezes during first race

The game always freezes during the very first race. I play on a laptop without seperate graphics card (CPU Ryzen 7 5700U), but it runs smoothly in the menus and only lags sometimes in when a 3d sequence starts on track.
My system doesnt get hot and is almost never working at 100%, espacially not while there are not 3d elements on display.
And thats the crazy part: the freezes always occur while i watch the race via the map and NOT during 3d scenes. Also it is always at another point in the tace, it can be after 5 laps, 20 laps or 50 laps, but i never finish the first race.

So basically the game is unplayable for me right now. Any tips what i could do to avoid the freeze?

That internal gpu is probably not able to run the 3D engine in the game.

Well as I mentioned, even the 3D scenes in the game run smoothly almost all of the time. And the GPU (as shown in the task manager) never gets over 60°C. On top, the problem only occurs while there is only the 2D map on screen.
So I dont think any on-paper-requirements could or should have an effect leading to the freeze.

Apart from that - and to rule out any possible reason regarding GPU and 3D things - is there any option to deactivate All 3D scenes in the game?

Nope, which is good. With only 2D it would only be an another 08/15-Game.

You can play on the big Map if you want or on the real Track like you whatching an real Race.

How is it good, that players dont get to choose how they like the game to be presented? Where is the harm in having options?
For me manager games dont need any 3D stuff. It just takes budget from more important things like optimizing all the game mechanics, algorithms etc, which is in fact a part where this games lacks.

And no, afaik you can not decide to watch in 2D/map all the time - the game always switches to 3D for some cut scenes automatically.

Nevertheless, the whole 2D/3D thing doesnt seem to be of relevance regarding the freeze problem.
So what could it be, if the game runs ok/good all of the time before?

Set the Graphics for that Game on 60 fps per second in the Graphics-Software (NVida-System-Thing for the Graphic-Settings) and your PC / Game-Console don´t make an CTD during the Race / the End of Race.

If not the CPU an GPU use everything they have and both are overheating, which make a complete Reset for the PC / Console after an Cooldown.

If you have an normal CTD then let Steam make an Check and repair the broken Gamefiles, delete the unofficial Mod manualy and check you have all Drivers and Windows up to Date.

If it´s then still there, then you either have an Problem on the Hardware or an Hardwarepart ins´t compatible with the Game (like King Arthur with integrated Soundhardware / integrated Graphicchips in the Processor).
