Today it could be different, where you have more Seasons for the long time Projects and if it comes in earlyer or later for the Growup from international F3 to F1.
Short said: Unlimited Seasons make no sense, an real Manager won´t life unlimited. She / He have it Human Limitations too and no one will see an 80 to 100 Year old Manger.

"Unlike in EA and Codemasters’ F1 2021, there’s no limit to the number of seasons in a career. So after a while you will only have current F2 and F3 drivers racing in F1, with the roster bolstered by fictional drivers who replace those who retire. That system of having regens make up the numbers is a system that’s long been employed in the Football Manager series along with other sports games."
They were playing it with the developer and the website says this above quote. I don't know if that will be 100% the case but they claim that there will be no limit.
You could manage a team for unlimited season's.
disagree with this.
it's a game, so a manager's real life is a moot point.
i love football manager because i can build an empire, and i would definitely enjoy this game more if it also allowed that.
AND there are Regens/Newgens (They used the word regens but meant newgens as they said that they are fictional new drivers not recreations of existing ones as young ones like Pro Evolution Soccer for example).
So there is official confirmation: Unlimited seasons and Regens/Newgens
Thanks for sharing the info, that's really great news. I didn't want to get addicted and then it get cut short 😂
i already knew of the unlimited seasons, i just could never see it based around just the one season.
what i'm more interested in is how the managers position is worked out. in f1 manager 2000 you have to hit a goal and stick to it or its game over, meaning once you race up and win the drivers and teams title in season 2000, you are trapped in that position forever.
i'm wondering if the goals are more flexible like in motorsport manager, because even if you miss the target that you accepted to, there is a chance you can recover, meaning you are in for the long term so long as you don't mess up too badly.
I guess it depends if they design it around the Ferrari management style of old or new. In the past they got sacked pretty quick but now they get a bit more time to achieve the goals hehe
Hey :) have just answered this in another thread - in short, there is absolutely no 10-season limit to how long a save can last. We don't currently have an exact number to share, but you'll be able to play through a lot more seasons than that, and you can expect 'regens' and other features that allow the game to remain challenging and balanced, for however long you want to play.

Thank you. If they do add any sort of limit no matter how high in the future if you can share it with us please. Just nice to know when you start off.
An good Way is to do it with the Long-Time-Concept for the Team you choose coupled / linked with the outcomes of Short- and Medium-Missions for the Long-Time-Concept per Team.
Or how do you Manage with the Money for the whole Season, which will be investagitated from the Chairmens / Chairwomens (Regens) with Changes from them and better / lesser Meanings for your Management.
Something like that. That would be an cool Soft-Limiter until you reach an Manager-Age (say 60 or 70) as Hard-Limiter.
