This is one of those games that feels like it ends just as it's getting started. It's very light on playtime, content, gameplay, and story, but if you're looking for a light and breezy, vaguely Zelda-like game to spend an afternoon with, you could do much worse than this game.

Arietta of Spirits is somewhat short (I beat the story in just under 3 hours, in a single sitting), but it is still a wonderful experience. Gameplay isn't too hard and most times I took damage were due to me fat-fingering the controls. The story is very nice but I wish there was more. I want a longer game with more people to talk to and spirits to help! But for what it is, its a nice game to play through. There were not many puzzles--a certain ability is mentioned to have additional uses, but is only ever used in the same context you get it (i.e. combat).
Do I like the game? Yes, I do. Would I play it again? Probably not for a bit. Would I be interested in a sequel? Definitely!
