Has anyone figured out how to save a game. Every time I try and save it gives me the original old school "Insert Disk" message and when I try reloading them it never seems to work . Also I have a huge monitor...49" wide screen thats like a 5120 x 1440. game runs great when i start it up..but if I tab out for any reason and come back it reverts the screen to the original 800 x 600 resolution and is SOOOO tiny in the upper right hand corner of my screen and I cant get it back to full screen size. Does anyone have a way of saving a game when playing Crusade in Europe?

Unfortunately when I search, most are real world war games, which are generally not my thing. I would like to support by buying older games, but I can not justify buying games I simply have no interest in. Is there possibility to attach game pad controller as joystick (like it was possible in 1985)? As I know - there is no. So, please tell me at least one reason to buy that stuff and to do not use RetroArch + Atari game version + DualShock4?
