Is the Backbreaker achievement bugged?
I have to kill 10 enemies by stomping.

I'm on new game +. I've killed most of the necromorphs until chapter 5 by stomping.
I don't even shoot or stasis them. I punch them with the plasma cutter and stomp them until they die.

I have to kill with ONLY stomps or is it bugged?

I read a guide that states that it has to be a one hit stomp kill. There's a chapter that has these weird pods you can stomp and farm in chapter 5

You have to kill a necromorph by ONLY using stomps to damage and kill them. This is easiest to do on the pods that Matured Guardians spawn. If you aren't sure what those are, it's those fleshy bloated people stuck to walls that have like 6 tentacles to shoot. Wait for it to spawn a pod, then stomp it. Rinse and repeat until you get the achievement.

I just got it on a slasher in chapter 6. I punched him, and then finished him off by stomping.

If it's not bugged, I think maybe it has to do with stomping on their backs, but I'm not sure.

It is bugged but still possible. You need to stomp kill ENEMIES THAT DIE IN ONE HIT. E.g. The pods puked out by the wall guys, the mini guys that crawl out of toilets, etc. None of the regular enemies will count towards the achievement, strictly enemies that die in one hit from from full health.

This is easily farmed by stomping the pods shot out from the wall guys until you get the achievement, they don't have a limit on how many times they can do that.

I got it on a slasher that didn't die in one hit, so...
