Not really a spoiler, since Motive boasted about it and it's been defended pretty hard, the captain's transformation scene got a similar treatment where it went from PS3 in-game scene design innovation to a Ubisoft-style cutscene where Isaac goes from stomping necromorphs into acting like a chump because the cutscene says so.
Also, at least Mercer's actor seems to nail the part, and isn't a bit of a downgrade like Kyne's appears to be. Then again, big shoes to fill.
Totally legit man. Trust me man. Who honestly trusts these ♥♥♥ artists at this day and age?
Man, I wish I could pick your brain endlessly. The stories you have to weave for reality to even make any sense must be fascinating. I'm sure you'll blame fluorine in the water supply or something to that effect.
Some of the the writing/lore changes and some of the design surrounding such are the questionable parts, especially Kendra in the intro and what made her lines stand out in subsequent playthroughs, the loss of her lines seems like she was made... too passive? Is she even the character she was supposed to be anymore? Can someone confirm?
Certainly the original character stands out for me too. But that old personality and performance of her's screamed untrustworthy hag.
same journalist review dead space highly = woke agenda reviewers

I love the internet, it makes me happy.
The interplay between her and Hammond established her competence as a computer specialist able to get ♥♥♥♥ done under duress, his command as per his role, and the chafe of her being shoehorned onto the USS Kellian at orders from high-up in CEC.
But most of all? RIP her lines to Isaac about being able to look up Nicole when they get aboard in lieu of some exposition barf. Isaac was just another tool to be used in her mission, empathy would have been... well, it WAS wasted, apparently, in the Remake as it is no longer there in the intro. The replacement is just some general preference of wanting to see Nicole than listen to Hammond doing his job.
The details in the intro changes, whether Isaac switches off the video or it fades to static, are also significant to Kendra's character.

a position of the new L4D style random event director, the enhanced story arcs, of course the new features and gfx, and runs great on PC - He gave this title a Strong Buy.
He is usually the first to call out JANK or Performance issues if they are there. He said they did their homework with this title and is one of the better 0 days releases he has seen in a while for the PC from a stuttering perspective. Strong praise indeed.
