Playing Dead Space 2 After Remake

So after completing my first 2 playthroughs of Dead Space Remake I decided to play the series in order so I loaded up Dead Space 2 & started to play it but I can't play it after experiencing Dead Space Remake it just destroyed Dead Space 2 & 3 because of how Superior it is to the Originals. It's such a big difference going from the remake to the older games it's hard

My biggest problem is the free dlc that is available for Dead Space 2 steam players. It completely ruins the flow of the game to give you all the suits and a variation of the weapons at the first store in the game.

Yeah, I couldn't go back to the originals after playing games like Prey and Bioshock on the PC. The original Dead Space PC versions are just too old of PC ports. Happy the remake was a thing. Hope we get one for Dead Space 2.

EA and motive Studios needs to remake Dead Space 2 and Dead Space 3 and then give us the sequel we've been waiting years on Dead Space 4

I cannot say I feel the same, did the exact same thing. Dead Space 2 on Highest settings.resolution still looks really good and plays amazing with how more fast pace it is then DS1. Its a testament to how well it was made 10 years ago.

This Remake was my first game in the series and now I went back to play the original DS1 and I actually kinda prefer it. It's the hit feedback and gun sounds I think. The PC port has some vsync related issues but at least they're easily fixable unlike the Remake's stutter so far.

Dead Space 3 & 2 resolution settings don't even come close to Dead Space remake and that's just graphics. don't know if you use a controller or not but there's huge differences in that as well. plus the overall design looks more realistic plays more realistic . the physics. Not to mention that Dead Space remake is way more scarier than the original

I guess everyone has their favorite and opinion but I'm sticking with mine none of the Dead Space games come close to the remake

In what way? Obviously there's the graphics. I haven't played 2 since the remake but I think it's pretty solid

Complete the Remake twice then go back to the originals you'll see what I'm saying or maybe not. But for me there world's apart

playing with mouse and keyboard is absolutely horrendous in Dead Space 2. The character feels floaty and unresponsive, Mouse look has excessive smoothing on it which makes it hard to be accurate compared to the remake which has no smoothing. I have to turn it down to 10/100 to make it feel like this game, and that makes it extremely slow in the menu and even slower during timed shooting events, I almost died because I had to throw my mouse across the desk to look 3 inches to the right.

I had to install a custom DLL to play the game because my hardware is too good and they never updated it.

I can't even use a mouse and keyboard. doesn't feel natural. I like feeling the characters weight when moving aiming interacting with doors everything has a response on a controller keyboard and mouse is just press a button it's nothing to it just feels unnatural. For example if an enemy drops down out of the vent you can feel it in your controller even when shooting a gun if the ship starts shaking you feel that in the controller as well

Even when your characters walking you can feel the thud in your hands not to mention when you stomp someone's brans out
