Metodo per disabilitare i DLC di Dead Space 2 per non avere tutte le armi e le tute sbloccate.

1 - Disabilitare i DLC di Dead Space 2

Se anche voi come me appena avete iniziato la partita, ed andando nel primo negozio che troviamo vi siete trovati con tutte le tute e le armi sbloccate, e volete giocare soltanto con le armi originali che troviamo nella storia questa è la guida che fa per voi!

Per disabilitare i DLC ci serviremo del primo eseguibile di Dead Space 2 uscito, quindi la versione 1.0 che non supporta i DLC, in questo modo non appariranno in gioco.
Vediamo come fare:

1 - Scarichiamo l'.exe 1.0 del gioco a questo indirizzo DOWNLOAD[www.dropbox.com]

2 - Andiamo in C:\Program Files (x86)\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\common\dead space 2 e rinominate deadspace2.exe in quello che volete (questo ci permetterà di ripristinare i DLC in caso volessimo usarli una volta finito il gioco).

3 - Copiate il file deadspace2.exe appena scaricato in C:\Program Files (x86)\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\common\dead space 2

Adesso non avrete più in gioco tutte le armi e le tute sbloccate.

2 - Disabilitare gli aggiornamenti automatici di Dead Space 2

STEAM HA RIMOSSO QUESTA OPZIONE CON GLI ULTIMI AGGIORNAMENTI DEL CLIENT

Adesso per evitare che Steam aggiorni l'exe alla versione 1.1 non dovrete fare altro che disabilitare gli aggiornamenti automatici per Dead Space 2.

1 - Tasto destro su Dead Space 2 nella Libreria dei giochi e selezionare Proprietà

2 - Selezionare la casella Aggiornamenti e scegliere "Non aggiornare automaticamente questo gioco".

Se il gioco si aggiorna automaticamente ogni volta che premi play, vai a Dead Space 2 nella libreria -> fai clic su proprietà -> imposta il tipo di opzioni di avvio -noverifyfiles fai clic su ok e avvia il gioco.

Now to avoid that Steam will update the exe to version 1.1 we have to disable automatic updates for Dead Space 2.

1 - Right-click dead space 2 in your steam library and Hit properties

2 - Go to the 'updates' tab and Set automatic updates to 'do not automatically update this game'.

If the game updates automatically every time you press play, go to Dead Space 2 in library --> click properties --> set launch options type -noverifyfiles click ok and start the game.

Agreed. It's jarring to see overpowered, free items from the very beginning in the store. I avoid buying them, but it's still silly to be offered in this way. Ruins the experience and difficulty.
