Odd FPS Drops
Upon launch the game is running at it seems 10-20 frames. Which is odd.... I set everything to low, and even opted out of 4K resolution down to 1080 and it's still happening. I'm currently installing new drivers but I am wondering if this is common (yet)?

Thank you in advance.

It will vary depending on system specs, map, number of players/AI etc, but that is awfully low for just the menu.

As an example, I have a GTX 760, run with medium details and easily run much higher then that at the menu and in a number of the maps.

There have been issues reported with UE4 and 10X series of nVidia cards, but they are usually rendering artifacts in the optics and green screen issues.

If you could share some of your basic specs, perhaps someone with a similar setup can chime in.

I understand. I'm running a 1070 with 8GB, I7-4777 3.2 GHz with 16 GB of RAM.

I personally don't think it's a spec issue. I installed a new driver but that didn't fix the issue.

I even tried reinstalling the game, but it was no help.

Mines not dipping though. It's constantly there. The game is unplayable for me.

Yeah that is very odd behavior and not something we are seeing reports of. Could you try to go into FullScreen, Windowed and Windowed FullScreen modes to see if you get any change? your specs are certainly more than enough to run the game at 60+ the majority of the time.

I was able to fix it. There was an OS update on my end (duh). I am able to play this in 4K on high now. Thank you.

I have 1050ti 4gb, I5 8300U 2.30GHz and I have it on medium but get drop frames

Its a modern game on a modern game engine so you will see lower framerates with a mid/lower end machine.

Are there specific instances?

Is that a "gaming laptop"?
some thoughts:

I guess you really have to optimize whats possible to get a good experience...

How much Ram? System Drive is a SSD?
Powerplan on HighPerformance?
Gpu power setting in the nvidia control panel is on max performance and texture quality on performance, not quality?
How are cpu/gpu temps? Use hwinfo64 to have look at the temps...
Maybe lifting the back of the laptop a little lets it breathe a little better. That can result in lower temps and higher clocks and more (stable) fps...

If its a laptop then make sure you are running the game on the 1050ti and not the integrated graphics. UE4 is notorious for defaulting to the integrated graphics and not the dedicated one.

SSD Disk
I cant play the game... its stays at 10-30 fps so much lagging...
I allready uninstaled my norton anti virus and didnt do much diference... i realy want to play this game....

U guys have any tips ?

10-30 fps when solo on the training map? If not, with how many OPFOR (performance drops are expected with more than 30 bots... or less depending on your CPU... I don't really know AMD CPU so I can't tell how much "horsepower" yours has)? :|
coelhO Jul 16, 2021 @ 8:31am
in both modes... solo... hosting a game or with others...
isnt a first class CPU but i can play allmost part of the games at 50-60 fps in high resolution like COD Cold War, Day Z, Scum etc...
I tried everything and it doesnt get better =[
