Ummm
1. Tite Kubo himself is on the game and helped with the writing so at least respect the original creator lmfao Game has ALOT of coo ldetails and perspectives.
Yeah you have very very limited knowledge about the game.
1. THe update legit made a massive difference in the game and the way it functions. I was having SO MANY CRASHES and now it;s much muhc much better. THere will be more updates to come but you just...I don't know. Im playing off of a 1660Ti and it's not even on an HDD. CPU is i7 and it just works.
2. Online is probably banning people who RAGEQUIT or keep DCing... I can see if you game freezes but again, it probably onl ynow freezing if your wifi or something is bad. After a bad connection fight, it also pauses for a bit...but it's not actually frozen... It's trying to disconnect from poor connections.
3. Rukia IS GREAT and you clearly have not explored her. TC, you need to watch videos and she was also buffed in the new update. TURN ON Advanced controls... Allow yourself freedom
4. This person really is limited in how they approach fighting games because if they spent half the time anyone who loves them do with more characters, they'd realize they are ALL unique and have different gameplay styles. They are not the same at all and that is what makes this game so damn GOOD
4. No idea about ban. I have nvr once Ragequitted and I don't play on bad connection or wifi. I know some people cant but ...I question what's really going on with people getting banned because everyone is not honest.
1. The game is not perfect and on Steam may have some stability issues here and there but after the update it has been working SO GOOD and allowing people to really get the best out of the game. With the issue it had at launch it'd be like a 6...after the patch its like an 8.5.
2. Combat. As a fighting game player.... It's amazing. it's legit everything I ever asked for in an Arena Style type of game. I lowkey can't even call it an arena fighter. The game uses a mix of "normals" that you use to engage and space your attack strategy. The Attacks don't just automatically suck you into your opponents and you have to be aware of the difference distances each character's weapons have along with if they are vertical, horizontal and forward poke.moving attacks. You can mix the light and heavy for either dmg or combos on hit but on block you can convert heavies into lights for safe strike throw counter mixup game. You can go from those attacks into the knowback or signature attacks and you have Step attacks that also serve as normals and such. Some moves can be canceled into Specials and extended with system mechanics. It feels like if Soul Calibur had a baby with DBFZ/GG and an arena fighter like space but far more on the fighting game side since there's no goofy "running away" from the fight and "flying around the feild". It is a FIGHTING GAME
2a. The characters are UNIQUE. no one character plays the same. Some are combo heavy, some are long range psychical some are zoners, some are set play, some are balanced, trickster types, mid range, close range, counter types. it's so good. It's not as complex as a Tekken or SOul Calibur or Street Fighter BUT it has alot of that dna and enough attacks and strats that are on par with the best of them. There's room for improvement but the game really surprised me.
3. The Story mode is HUGE. you can tell that the budget was cut in some areas... Animations can be a little jank but the animations that are not cut due to budget are AMAZING and there is so much artistic flare and creativity. Tite Kubo is on the game and there are alot of details added and expressed in different new ways. Secret Stories and all types of things like fighting different types of hollows, boss fights and other characters. It's not perfect but it is really well done and CHONKY.
4. The music and art and details are also amazing, No one can tell you the music is bad... You even get character specific tunes when they go into Awakening. THe characters talk to one another in battle with specific lines and there's plenty of cool secrets like being able to cancel the first Super of an opponent with Aizen (if you have enough meter) by blocking it in a special way and triggering a cutscene where he uses his SHikai against any character who has seen it to reset things. lolol its so cool
5. There are hella stages and a nice amount of costumes, There could be more to unlock but I think in updates they could improve that or in a sequel.
I recommend it but just know that it's not 100% imo. However, it is my personal favorite game of the year and in terms of arena fighters...my goodness... THANK YOU!!! I don;t even know another game to really compare it to in that space. Favorite Fighting Game Arena type next to Final Fantasy Duodecim. For me, it's an 8.5/10 overall but a 9/10 in terms of fighting fun and I am HARSH when it comes to Anime games. For reference, I play alot of Street Fighter lmfao and can be very fighting game biases. I play Samsho, Guilty Gear, Tekken, DBFZ, MVC... so many. I don't play as much as the more hardcore person but Street Fighter i do.
yea.... i have a few posts but it gets super annoying to remention all that stuff... i did mention most of that on this discussion board though... got people telling me how ur a liar and some people saying only use 10 words or just say 1 thing per reply or something.. (I know i'm not a good speaker/typer) Rukia's forward Y is her only true specialty and it doesn't compare to even base form grimmjoww's speed... it does have a quick cool down for a forward Y but it doesn't out speed most speedy characters.. other than that she isn't very special... I have practised with Ikkaku as well he is really fun to play... I'm not saying i don't like to play as Rukia she is the only one i have used in online battles and i have done 3 3* missions with her just barely making it in time... My game only crashed once and it stuttered at the start of 1 online battle but we continued....(I'm on steam deck and it was fine for 8 hrs i played at launch too..) I do have a very limited understanding of the game but i do mention a lot it depends strongly on character and that u can turn to advance for tricky and faster fights... especially online with breakers and forward Y's and no RT's makes the battle much more fast paced........Tite Kubo had a piece in this like Oda had a piece in One Piece live action. He seem to barely say No romance and they said ROMANCE!>? Y didnt they expand on things we never saw or actual joke like shinigami illustrated... Rukia reports to her captain with Manga of Ichigo as a bunny doing the missions.... We all have different ideas but at least we both Love Dissidia Doudecium.....
Rukia's Special Flash attack can be canceled into her Signature move, though unsafe on block both fire balls can be staggered to counter hit jab checks from the opponent creating
two frame traps after a successfully blocked Special Flash.
Use this to condition blocking to allow the use of her to reset pressure with charged Signature move which leaves Rukia plus on block and dealing sizable guard damage.
Then with meter use Flash 1> Light 2/3 > SP1 to continue pressure
Or Flash 1> Light 2 > Flash 2 > SP2 to create a true block string that does over 1/3rd damage to the opponents guard gauge forcing breaks but be careful this string is not safe on block so make sure you will break.
With the threat of this guard break Rukia's stagger pressure and projectile game become much more threatening and can force the opponent into using blue reverse which will leave Rukia ahead in the meter economy.
is (Flash 1> Light 2 > Flash 2) YXY???
When you Special Flash Attack (forward triangle) the game gives you time to cancel into her Signature move before you can no longer achieve the cancel.
You do not want to press Circle quickly after your forward Triangle, there is a specific rhythm to it, you need to leave a gap between your button presses.
For visual aid the moment you want to press circle is just as the second blue slash from Rukias sword is starting to go away.
If you do cancel this correctly (it will take some practice as the timing is strict) it will leave a tiny gap between her Special flash attack and the fireball
this gap will allow the opponent to start their attack animation if they are pressing something but their attack will always loose to the fireball and give a counter hit.
[this in fighting game terms is called a frame trap because it leave a few frames gap in a block string to trap the other player who is trying to counter attack by just pressing buttons while they are blocking]
So if you learn how to do this try use you Special Flash attack into block because its safe and you can check your opponents reaction to that, if they attack right away and do not seem like they are checking for the fireball.
then next time frame trap them with the fireball and they will then be afraid to mash attacks when they block you.
Once they are not mashing attacks and are looking for the fireball you then charge the fireball which leaves you VERY advantaged on block and can either keep attacking or breaker (this also has strict timing as you cant breaker someone who still have the blue glowing shield from blocking an attack)
or whatever you want because they will be stuck blocking long after you are able to act
Does that make sense, I know its a lot to take in.
