Game worth it?

I was really hyped for this game, but now i dont even know if its worth it. I would mainly buy it for the online experience but it seems like Steam has almost no players?

Every character is a lifeless doll man, it doesn't take long to see that. Especially when story sections can take up to 10 minutes at a time. The presentation is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ weak.

There's one egregious scene with iirc Renji and someone else on a Seireitei bridge and it's just a dead scene with the camera panning and characters just standing around.

Oh yeah like the other guy said, there's so much cut out. The full Vizard squad doesn't even make an appearance for one, lol. Substitute Soul Reaper is just speedran through and they summarize everything with images.

If you are curious, I did a full playthrough on YT (DunamisOphisGameplay). I've been watching and reading Bleach since it first aired on AdultSwim when I was in 11th grade (2006-2007), so I was exhilarated to play a new Bleach game. This game is rather disappointing. I'm also an animator in the industry, and I can see the lack of details in the animations in story mode. The lip syncs bother me, but that's an animator thing. The combat is very basic and frustrating. I'm still trying to figure out combos. I haven't played online or versus mode yet. The best Bleach game I've played so far is Bleach: Versus Crusade. I've also played Bleach: Dark Souls. I have over 250 versus gameplay videos of Versus Crusade if you want to check those out. The movement in that game is superior to Rebirth of Souls. For me, the greatest anime fighting games of all time are Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3 and DBZ Infinite World. The second games after that would be Naruto: Gekitou Ninja Taisen 4 and the other Clash of Ninja Games. I never really played the Naruto games though.

Unless you are die-hard Bleach fan, I recommend waiting for it to go on sale. The game "looks" good, but so does Dragon Ball Sparking Zero. I'm waiting for Bleach: Soul Resonance.

Not really. Just wait for a heavy discount if you want to enjoy the story since the online is dead. They aren't adding ranked though. They are considering it. And it won't change anything since noone plays online. It's a discord fighter or if you have friends to play with.

The game is great, the story mode is good but it's nothing compared to Storm, the extra mode is very good, it contains stories for all the characters written by Tite Kubo himself that adds a lot to the development of the characters, which he couldn't put in the manga. The game is not perfect, it has several problems, some characters have infinite combos, others have unbalanced mechanics but the game still has some performance problems BUT the company is trying to solve them, this last patch solved many stability problems, solved many characters that had infinite combos (apparently there is still one left), Just today they released a questionnaire about possible improvements and releases that players want for the game (fullbring arc, tybw), skins. The connection for me is good, 80% of the matches are satisfactory to play, one or another has lag. but the important thing is that they are listening to the feedback and are solving all these problems, at the moment the game is getting about 1300 players per day, which is not a lot but I imagine it is because people are waiting for the problems to be completely solved to buy the game, but at least I find games every day, at any time without waiting long, there are always people playing. the game is expensive and still needs to be improved, maybe you should wait for a sale, but at least for me it is definitely worth it. Furthermore, they said that they are considering launching ranked, but only after resolving all balance issues and bugs (ranked files have already been found within the game). And in my opinion, this is very good, because if ranked had come from the beginning, the game would have received even more hate for having these problems in competitive play.

Inaccurate extras? All the extras were made by the author of Bleach himself. And the game has already said from the beginning that you can always turn around a match that seems lost, this is the concept of Bleach and Ichigo: reverse fate. Besides being a very good system against which you don't give up easily because there is always a way to turn the game around and this makes ALL the matches much more disputed (some unfair but if you are a good player you can turn around and win matches in an epic way.).

If you really like the anime , the game like many others in this discussion have said if you're a die-hard fan, yes, if not, then wait. Would I say it's worth the money? It's still up in the air in my honest opinion. It's online & offline modes are not good as people cannot get a match without being disconnected on the PC platform, it is nearly impossible to have any fun unless you find others who have the game and can quickly match with you in a free room, but even that is randomized and takes a unreasonable amount of time to even connect.

Previous bugs have been fixed for the most part, but there are still some errors for the PC gaming platform, but that is to be expected for newly released games. As many have said, wait for it to go on sale, it won't be any time soon, but you would probably be better off watching people play it on YouTube, or go to a friends house to play it for yourself on their game console if they are willing. Other than that I'd personally say its fine, a few more patch updates and the game should be good to go. Just keep an eye on the update tab for the game and then determine for yourself if its worth getting the game overall.
