How is everyone enjoying the story mode?

While I disliked the barebones approach to the story. Otherwise, I am enjoying the English dub for this game. I do have to wonder why didn't they discuss how Orihime always eats literal loafs of bread? That would have been funny.

Not really enjoy. Storytelling is really terrible, and clumsy animations. But at least thanks for voicing and double thanks for not only japanese voices. In the other ways typical japanese AAAA product with double prices just because its bandai. Nothing new.

You could wake me up in the middle of the night and i would tell you the story so since the whole cutscenes are just lacking animation/direction and are literally talking heads, i skipped most of them, Soul Resonance that is a mobile game eats this 60$ game on breakfast in the cutscene department.

Other then that lack of good rewards, or unlockables, i expected we will gete these characters that weren't on the default roster but it seems that they exist only for storymode.
Like... fighting masked Kaname is the biggest joke, when on the roster they gave us only his HM/Fake Karakura skin using Ban Kai.

And well, gamepay itself not that bad. Yes, its absolutley not a deep-system fighting, but i dont remember that someone told us thats it is. And many people have a point, saying that its best bleach game at the moment. And not only because other blech games was an ps2\ps3 old games. This one has interesting mechanics, and no matter how angry I am on bandai, i play it, and i have a fun. I regret about buying a key for 60$, and so much, but under all those problems there is a good game. Not brilliant, not excellent, not perfect, but still. If only its can obtain updates in future like an new animations, new combos and something like that...

the cutscenes lack any sort of emotion and are just way too barebones.

For instance one of my favorite scenes in the entire anime is when ichigo shows up to rescue rukia and casually destroys 3 vice captains bare handed.

in the game it's only 2 and he just kind of punches them.

I absolutely hate this story mode.. They cut out every single cool line and replaced it.. I have no idea why they chose to paraphrase the old dub.. Deny the urge to let things stun and flicker became dont flicker into sleep or they cut out completely comedy and wounds.. Michelle Ruff Rukia's voice actor has been my favourite voice actor for a very long time because she changes her tone mid sentence and really delivers her lines... In this she is incredibly bland and not allowed to speak her Dub Anime lines. I found my resolve to kill you.. Your Idea of Power is without a doubt radically different from my own. Let's hurry up and end this Aizen; All this rambling you do ......I'm sick of it...

I heard the story involving David Wald a while back. Personally, I always held Bleach's dub in high esteem. I for one am loving the dub on this game, but it does seem a bit subdued because they only had so much time to record.

I believe in this case it is bang zoom and not crunchyroll who is doing this dub, I could be wrong.

nice to know it wasn't crunchyroll though; Yea the David Wald story is what I was talking about.... I miss Vic Mignogna as Ikkaku Madaramme and 89 years old today David Lodge as the Kenpachi from Zaraki.

Considering they already have the right to Bleach??????? Would it not be cheaper to use the old cut out what u want the people to know 4k Bluray that they even have Season 1 of than to pay all those VA to do those ♥♥♥♥♥♥ paraphrasing of something we loved because of what they said... This game also removed all injuries and the hype u get from even the episode 1 where he cuts the hollows leg off and makes it call towards him. In direct comparison to the original these changes in quips really only make me angry... Like how can u change the actual quip itself and include 0 music...... They had the rights to all of Bleach no??? or was it some technicallity like Jump Force where they have to pay them ongoing if they copy too much???? I do appreciate them doing a Dub because Bandai never does English anything sooo sad about 1 piece games and Fairy tail being only ♥♥♥ Audio but to paraphrase everything actually cool including well known quips...

Story mode additions + Secret Story is canon content made by Tite Kubo for the game, fixing some plot holes and explaining other situations, so if you like Bleach, this game is a MUST for every fan

I am up to chapter three and I like it so far. I just think that it's a game I have to play in doses.
