movement controls are inverted and can't be changed with steam input?

game runs flawlessly for me, and i'm on linux. so people complaining about that is a little weird. though the issue I'M having is that the movement controls are inverted on both axes. stick forward moves you away from the screen, stick back is towards you, left is towards the enemy, and right is away from them. i can probably get used to it, but it's so weird how inverting the axes in steam input doesn't fix it.

They're not inverted just not relative to your character's position. If you do have a bug like that though then..
