Should you really be allowed to look at what's in your deck?
If you click your leader you can see what's in front of you. I get that it's random but I don't imagine this would be allowed in the real life board game as you would know the order of your cards.

Sometimes this gives you the same advantage that Paul's passive ability gets if you only have one left in the deck.

Technically, it's possible to emulate that effect in the board game by tracking the cards you add to your deck and checking what's in your discard. While it's both tedious and unnecessary to keep track of all your cards, it still pays a lot to be aware of the situation of your best cards. Whenever I play tabletop, I check my discard and count the amount of cards in my draw pile on a regular basis in order to keep track of where are my Ring, Diplomacy and strong IR cards I acquired.

However, the ability to get a list of all the cards of your draw pile with a single click is indeed detrimental to Paul.
imo: the ability to lookup your cards is fine. Otherwise players would just take notes and manually keep track of their cards so even longer wait times for others.
One could raise a similar arguments for other digital-only conveniences such as action log keeping track of everyone's card acquiring history.

As an alternative, there is a "Table Top Simulator" mod of the game, which offers no such shortcuts.

How can one know the order of cards if it is random and shuffled? As I see it, after having a look at the draw pile, all those cards get shuffled. So, there will be no issue of knowing the order of cards in daw deck.

Not knowing the order of the cards in your draw pile isn't necessary to get interesting informations. Most of the time, you draw in order to get enough Persuasion for the reveal phase anyway, which means that knowing the average persuasion of a draw allows you to hedge your bets by knowing your precise % chance to reach a given Persuasion threshold.
