Im sure no developer here will answer you about any plans. All the more its almost impossible that some changes to the row or leaders will be implemented.
Why do you say so? I don't expect something like this before the immortality expansion. I think it is possible to make small changes such as changing the persuasion cost or removing cards from the game.
Either way I would like to hear on what do you think you would change if this was possible.
The cost of diluting a card in your deck is really high though. Even if scout upgraded all my purple and yellow cards in the deck to a scout, I still think I would have consider buying it. It's basically buying a card to reverse trash a card in your deck. For a card to be 1 persuasion. I want it to either have a very good action ability or faction access
What they could do is making like a new redux game mode or something where they can play around more with balancing, but still keep the original balancing around.
People in charge of the game thought, in their all mighty wisdom, that it would be better to change the rules and mechanics of the game and actually sell a different experience than the original card game it was based on.
Well, let just say that it didn't work.
If you call your game "Dune Imperium", guess what? People are going to expect "Dune Imperium". Not "Dune Imperium, sunday afternoon edition" or "Dune Imperium, madness in the sand".
Just good ol' "Dune Imperium" exactly as in the boardgame.
But do not despair, mods are here to help you in this most desperate hour.
Personally I would like to just remove some bad cards from the row and keep the playable ones. It wouldn't take too much programming time. I really didn't like the concept of house atomics but it also felt necessary because sometimes the row just feels dead.
Right now they have alot on their plate so I'm very sure its not a priority. They are definitely capable of making slight changes though since they do that for the single player mode.
