Trashing Power Play With Selective Breeding

On my first turn played Power Play and got its bonus, which instructs me to trash the card. However, it was still in my play area when on my second turn I played on Selective Breeding, which allows me to trash a card. So I trashed Power Play then and got the Selective Breeding bonus. Bug, feature, or exploit?

The way you describe it, it's a bug, Power play isn't supposed to stay available after the agent's turn during which it was played. However, if you go to Selective breeding with a card that trashes itself like Power play or Folded space, you can indeed trash it first with the Selective breeding action, because rules allows you to play the effects triggered by an agent's action in the order of your choice.

That's what I thought. I don't recall what I played with Power Play, only that Selective Breeding was going to be my play for the next turn. I was surprised to see PP as a choice.
