Hard to learn?

I love DUNE universe and would love to try this game. Is it hard to learn to play it? Do I need to spend countless hours on YT to understand it or maybe the game has a built in tutorial?

Don't hesitate, this game is great. There is a tutorial. Though, as a board game enthusiast, I would recommend a YT board game tutorial as well, and maybe a Rise of Ix playthrough VOD. Just to give you a solid approach.

IF you plan on getting Rise of Ix with your initial purchase. Ix adds so much to the game, it's worth it IMO.

The game teaches you how to play and does a decent job. Definitely give it a go and don't focus on winning/losing initially.

The videogame also has the boardgame manual. That manual is extensive. The Tutorial leaves out a few things, but in-game tooltips help you figure those out. This game is built to be learned while playing!

It's also very thematic. If you are a Dune freak, you will understand the cards and actions very quickly, and see how nicely they fit into the themes of the book.
