Turn time nerfed to 90s, down from 3 min? Seriously? It was already way too short. Why not give an option?
I do not like the sound of forced 90s turns and for me it kind of ruins my desire to play. I like playing this game as a slow-burn strategic game with IRL friends where we can shoot the breeze as we play. 90s isn't enough to think a few turns ahead unless you're maybe super good at this game. I honestly want an option for unlimited turn time especially in private matches. For online matches, it should be a vote. 90s, 3 mins, 5 min, or no limit.

And allow us to save mid match to pick up the game later, please!

I still think 90 seconds is too long. Ive been at this current match for almost an hour and Im getting super bored.

I want to add to the above - 2 players are playing their turns <30 seconds, the other two are taking much longer and its very slow.

Regardless, it should be an *option* especially for private, non-matchmade games. I personally haven't bothered with the game since they made this change as it ruins the spirit of 'board games' to me, where we can sit and talk about life while slowly playing.

I don't expect everyone to play that way, but if I'm having a private match with my friends, we ought to be able to play that way.

I agree regardless of anyone's preference making it a variable option would be the best solution so everyone can pick what they like the most.

Now having been played more with 90 second timer I feel like it's sometimes too short but overall the game can still be too long if one or more players is always taking the maximum time. Like when you are the first to go in the round and draw a bad hand it takes time to figure out what to do especially if you also have intrigue cards to consider playing.

Perhaps some solution where the regular timer is shorter but the first turn of each round is longer would be ideal. Or some way to bank up excess time if you are quicker on some turns.

I think they should have a selector which will advertise what is the set time. 90 secs or 3 mins. For me, I'd never go into a 3 min a turn game.

Would love a 30 second option.

Firstly, that's needlessly agressive and secondly, some of us happen to have stuff to do like working and a zillion other things.

2 hours for a game is a huge time investement for something like that. That's a luxury.

But sure, make it something optional, 90 seconds, 3 minutes, 20 hours...everyone's happy that way.

Yes yes yes. I want to play this with my friends but the turn timer ruins the fun, we can't have conversations like we would irl.

I wonder how many people want to play with friends, how many play only online, how many only solo.

I'm with Stagger Lee. The game needs to give us the option to select our own turn timer - 90 seconds, 2 minutes, 3 minutes, and Unlimited. If you don't want to play with those longer timers, then don't join those games. But they are perfect for friends who like to chat during our games.

This is really needed. Please don't ignore it. Only one option fixed at 90 seconds is no good.

Like I mentioned elsewhere, I believe the most elegant solution would be chess clock style timer :
IE you get 20/25/30mn for the WHOLE game to be allocated as you desire between easy and difficult turns.
If you run out, you have 20s (more or less, not sure ) per turn.

Tbh the system at the moment is totally fine. As long people dont stall on purpose it works totally fine.
Moreover you should have at least 30s to make your turn, some turns you give in a lot of comands and you need have the time to do that.

I disagree that the current system is fine, some turns are very simple and some take a while (could be more than 90s for a crucial turn). That is why a time pool to be used as you wish gives the best flexibility while keeping people fast.
And you easily deduce what is the max time of a game. (ex : 20mn per player = 1h game max).
